A Community for Christ

We are a community church which has continuously served Christ in the Walden NY area for over 185 years. We long to be a place where the Holy Spirit is unlocked and
God's love for this world is experienced.

Welcome

The world around us is going fast and furiously. Most of our days are filled to the brim and it is hard to just take a breath. Furthermore, on a daily basis one can see suffering and pain all around us. In these circumstances, it can be hard to see God in action and to feel that there is a power out there greater than we.

First Reformed Church is about a diverse group of people coming together to discover, through questioning and action, God’s presence in this world and the plan God has for us. We long to be at a place where the Holy Spirit is unlocked and God’s love for this world is experienced.

We invite you to explore our church community and come visit us on a Sunday morning so that you can begin this journey of exploring faith in God. We trust you will find a place not with all the answers but with a spirit of adventure and a desire to seek out God in all aspects of our lives.

In the name of Jesus Christ we welcome you and encourage you to join us in our daily adventure of living out a faith in God.
